Cool & Dry Season
This is when most Egypt travel packages are timed to run, with daytime temperatures mild enough for a full day at Giza or Luxor without wilting by noon. It's also peak season for Egypt luxury travel, when Nile cruise cabins and Red Sea resorts tend to book out well in advance.
Hot Season
Cairo and the Nile Valley turn properly hot, but the Red Sea coast stays comfortable enough for diving and beach time, and sites are noticeably quieter. Early mornings and evenings still work well for sightseeing if the midday heat is planned around.
